Borderlands Bloodlust in WvW explained
Summary: The Lake area in the Borderlands has been removed with "Ruins of Power"
In this area there are 5 capture points each individually designed.
When a world holds 3 of these points for two minutes or more, a bloodlust buff will be provided for everyone in WvW. this buff provides 50 of each statpoints.
This can be stacked up to 3 times (for each BL-map once) for a total of 150 stat points increase.
If a world claims and leaves these points, they will decay and have to be refreshed after a period of time, so there is no capture and ignore even if there is no enemy in the map, you'll have to have people there to refresh this buff.
also added are more sentry points which im not sure what their use should be (tough that is a rather general idea as sentrys cant even kill dolyaks passing by [which they should be able to imo, would give sentrys a value at least])
also, and this is now interesting: Each enemy killed by a finisher while having 1/2/3 Stacks of Bloodlust will award 1/2/3 points to the servers score!
So basically, you down a 50 man zerg while having 3 stacks of bloodlust and finish each and everyone single handed by putting a banner through their chest (well thats what it looks like) will give your server instant 150 points to the score!
I think the changes look interesting, however the only concern I have about this is: will protecting these points be rewarding? Will there be a repeating event that upon completion awards the people that do sit there EXP/karma/coins/WXP? or will it be (like dolyak escorting) another painful job "that someone has to do but not get anything from it?"
if its the latter, i dont see this mechanic having an impact on wvw whatsoever as the karma-zerg-train will remain the most rewarding.
but if its rewarding, i can totally see SWD doing this kind of stuff
