      Hi all,

      I've decided to transfer back to Underworld for a number of reasons. I was away the time of discussion about moving to piken. I came back to find the guild totally gone and just me and a few left. Was a bit of a shock that it had happened for quickly. Never the less I grabbed some gems and transferred. I enjoyed the WvW quality. The players and guilds there are truly skilled and know how to play and break zergs. However I rarely got to see this due queue times at prime time. Since moving and changing jobs I can't get on until half 7. By the time the queues pops it's around half 8 and then I have half an hours game time. I command in the mornings but numbers are few and far between.

      I miss a lot of people on UW. My cousin has recently started playing again, as well as a few others that transferred back.

      In addition, a few of know, I'm expecting my first child in March. My game time will be limited or probably none existent when this time comes around. Therefore any game time I get I'd like to be able to run things that I need to run with minimal time limitations. UW provides that for me.

      It might be temporary, it mights not be. But for now, so long!

      Oh, it's sad to lose you too, but thank you for sharing your reasons and I wish you a lot of fun in the game as well as in real life when the D-day comes and you become a father. I hope we do get to meet again at some point in the game even if it's at the opposite sides of a wall :)

      but your reasons are understandable and after a certain point queues on Piken get really long, and if you cant manage to be on before that you are in bad shape :/

      Hope to see you back with us soon and either way, enjoy the sleep at night you'll be left getting before march :P

      Sorry to steal your thread a bit but how long are the queues exactly now? Are they really an hour on prime time? How much have queue times increased since you came to piken swd? And I heared there's a 60 man zerg guild from deso transfering here aswell? damn

      Have fun on UW Jayne and have even more fun being a dad! Just remember when that baby wakes up in the middle of the night and you are both pretending to be asleep so you dont have to get up, there has been scientific research pointing out that females are programmed to find the noise of a crying baby far more annoying to the point of unbarable so they will always get up before you. This is how nature intended it.

      However should you decide to get up, you can do some nightcapping while your waiting for the baby to fall asleep again and youll be a hero to UW AND your wife/gf.

      just at start of prime time or better when most guild raids start the queue is about 20 minutes tops (I queued up 19:55 CEST yesterday and got in 20:15).

      after all those guild raids kick in, the queue time really goes up by alot there is no doubt about that so for people that cant make it "on time" its a really sucky thing. But even tho the raidplanner is not used by everyone that is supposed to use it, i think it helps to keep the queue times as low as possible.

      Yea the queues are awful at times, I feel bad when I see ppl in guild chat complaining about being stuck in a queue during event times ;(

      What would you suggest as a solution? Friend rank? We cleared out the roster of anybody who is on a different server recently and didn't say explicitly that they will be back. It's hell of an annoyance to do a head-count for events, so we decided to keep a clean roster. A number of members asked about that too.

      "It might be temporary, it might not be." to quote you. I don't think anybody did that in spite, but they probably took it for granted that you are not coming back any time soon. If it matters to you, I guess saying "don't worry too much about it, because you can get a reinvite any time you want to rejoin us on Piken" would only annoy you, but if not, here you go.

      I understand if you got annoyed in case you got kicked without any notice.... There should have been sent a mail to you, to explain the reasons you got kicked and if you wanna come back to talk to us for a re-invite. I don't know who kicked you, and it doesn't matter, i apologize for all off us for this.

      But what Tal said, after our members complained for the roster with people not representing/people in other server, we had to clean it, not only because it was inconvenient to count our active members but also because it was giving an ugly image when you would press "G" and you see 5-6-7 people not available.....

      Get us on your Friends List (if you haven't already), this way we can keep in touch during the game, and also forum is always gonna be available for you. We will be mostly happy though, when you come back with us :)
