Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct will display and rule some of the processes regarding the Forum and Calendar Swords of Underworld is providing and opening for the Community, as this forum is hosted and owned by Swords of Underworld, it will bear their logo up top until the decision is made to give it a neutral domain, as long as the only possible access is through swordsofunderworld.com the Logo will not change. This forum serves only as a place for discussion and organization, in this Code of Conduct you will find nothing about how and who is claiming and upgrading keeps, ideally, this is done by the entire community altogether, anyways stuff like this can and should be discussed on the forums among the community.
The Forum will have various Public and Restricted Areas. The Public Area is accessible for everyone that creates an account on this forum. In order to access the restricted areas you have to join a user group using the forum options for this, restricted areas are currently only Sword guild content.
Guilds can request a personal area for their guild and their guild only.
Beside guild-relevant content, any content will be accessible public as our desire is to have a barrier-free communication among every Underworld member.
We are providing a platform to discuss and organize both, PvE and WvW, content. Discussions should always be held respectful and without trolling. In order to achieve this, moderators will know no mercy with anyone that is trying to mess up conversations on the forum. If you register an account on this forum purely to come and troll, your account won’t last long, however, a disagreement between two or more users is not automatically considered trolling as disagreements happen, however they should remain respectful, same, ideally, goes for conversations ingame.
Disputes between users and guilds are to be dealt with ingame throught the leadership, this forum is no place to handle these things as we want to create a peaceful enviorment to further improve Underworld.
This also means, the forum is not the place to shame and blame people openly. The only exception for this may be anything that goes against the Guild Wars 2 Terms of Use and Code of Conduct.
The event calendar will be accessible for everyone as well, however the events there can currently only be recorded by the administration, this means each guild should bring its event schedule towards Cruzyo so he can write them down. There will be a differentiation between WvW and PvE.
Events are organized by the guild that holds it. If multiple guilds have an event at the same time, the Event Leaders of each guild are recommended to cooperate and meet upfront to make decisions.
If many people are using the event list and sign up for events, the organization for each leader will be a lot easier.
The only time Leaders or Officers should come together on Teamspeak for a meeting is to decide what server to beat up and nothing more than that. We don’t need politics to cooperate and improve the server, let’s just do it.
