Good luck Elvor! Dell are usually pretty good at 'fixing' their products, aka sending out a new one.
During the summer I send my laptop back (to MSI, not Dell) and 10 weeks later I got it back still as broken as before, without any message saying what is wrong. I went back to the shop and all they could do was send it back to MSI but now if it is still broken after 10 weeks I should get a new one, as it still (barely) has its warranty.
So yeah as long as it is not too old they should be legally bound to replace it for a similar product after some time.
Fingers crossed that they'll opt for the easy way for them and instead of salvaging what's left of your expensive paperweight just send you a new one. It can be more cost efficient for them to do this than try to disentangle what all went wrong. As I said, fingers crossed!
