Game crashing while taking ss

Just wanted to ask if someone else have or had similiar problem and know how to fix it. I am bassicly unable to take screenshot from the game. Always when I try, the screenshot is either heavily damaged or my game is crashing. I have browsed the official forum but couldn't find any releated threat.

Do you adjust your settings before taking a screenshot? Cause my game tends to crash when i change graphics..
But sorry, i don't have an answer for you.

I don't think it's related with game settings or gpu settings. I tried various settings but couldn't fix the problem. Also the game is crashing even I didn't touch the settings. I just can't take ss at all. Sometimes, when I am lucky, I can take one ss after my game is started, any other ss will crash my game. Also even if I manage to take at least the one ss, the ss is often so damaged that you can't see anything there.

I have had crashed when I took screenshots in LA with the best graphic settings, I think I got a black screenie from that.. other than that I haven't had any problems.

I used to have this problem aswell, not sure what fixed it for me, probably updating the graphics to the latest driver was the key.

However, I also would recommend to run GW2 as Admin.

Windows can be a bitch if its about writing stuff to the HDD where the system is stored (assuming your Screenshot folder is on the same partition as the system)

I had a problem like that before I installed a 64 bit Windows, it was a memory issue where I had more memory in my PC than the OS could address, so when it would try to use the memory outside its range it would crash the game.

Seems to be a problem with the ATI Catalyst drivers right? According to the official forum post. Try rolling back your drivers is basically what they say there. All those forum posters seem to be using Radeon gcards.

Yeah I had that problem too but the reason was that i had very high graphics, i like my characters to look thier best in photos

Ok I am on Catalyst 13.10 atm and all is sudenly working yaaay. How simple was the problem :P. Thx guys
